Attorney Shawn Childs is a native of Warren, Arkansas. He graduated with distinction from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts in History. Then he received a law degree from Harvard University. He is licensed in Texas and Arkansas and has practiced law for over 20 years.
Mr. Childs handles civil litigation and appeals in employment discrimination, civil rights, personal injury, probate, contracts, and education matters.
He has appeared in state courts in Arkansas, Texas, Tennessee, and Mississippi, and federal courts in Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee. He appeared before the Eighth Circuit, the EEOC, and the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB).
Mr. Shawn Childs has been with John W. Walker, P.A. for 20 years, where he has led and supported numerous successful cases on behalf of individuals and groups.
Lawrence A. Walker
Attorney Lawrence A. Walker, also known as “Tony,” graduated from the University of North Texas with degrees in History and political science. He received a law degree from Ohio Northern University, Claude W. Pettit College of Law, then moved to Arkansas to join the practice of his cousin.
Lawrence now leads the firm, and handles education law, personal injury, criminal law, contracts, probate, and civil rights litigation including employment discrimination and police misconduct.
